Reformation Partners with Ambercycle to Introduce Cycora® Regenerated Polyester in New Collection

## Reformation and Ambercycle Team Up to Drive Circular Fashion Forward

In a move that underscores the growing importance of sustainability in the fashion industry, Reformation, a leading eco-conscious apparel brand, has joined forces with Ambercycle, a pioneering material science innovator, to introduce cycora® regenerated polyester into key pieces of its latest collection.

This partnership marks a significant step towards Reformation’s ambitious goal of achieving circularity by 2030. The brand is committed to minimizing virgin material usage, reducing waste generation, and keeping garments in use for as long as possible. Cycora® aligns perfectly with this vision, offering a closed-loop solution for polyester production that addresses the environmental concerns associated with conventional synthetic fabrics.

“At Reformation, we’re dedicated to using as little virgin material as possible, creating as little waste as possible, and keeping what’s in the fashion system in use for as long as possible,” explains Kathleen Talbot, Chief Sustainability Officer and VP of Operations at Reformation. “Through cycora®, Ambercycle is empowering brands like Ref to bring closed-loop garments to market, a critical step in building a truly circular fashion ecosystem.”

This latest collection from Reformation draws inspiration from the glamorous era of Hemingway’s Paris, with 1920s influences woven throughout. Featuring evening-appropriate gowns and separates, the collection showcases the innovative use of cycora® polyester, a high-performance material crafted from discarded textiles that would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators.

Cycora® represents a breakthrough in circularity, transforming discarded textiles into new, high-quality fabrics. Unlike conventional recycled materials, cycora® boasts superior durability, ensuring it can be used and reused multiple times without compromising quality. This aligns seamlessly with the growing demand for closed-loop products in the fashion industry.

“We admire Reformation’s high material standards and are excited to help them achieve their circularity goals,” says Shay Sethi, CEO of Ambercycle. “Collaborating with a like-minded, LA-based brand to drive global impact is incredibly meaningful. By integrating cycora® into their collections, we’re not just advancing sustainability—we’re transforming how materials are sourced, used, and reused in fashion.”

This partnership between Reformation and Ambercycle demonstrates a commitment to building a more sustainable future for the fashion industry. By embracing innovative technologies and prioritizing circular practices, these brands are paving the way for a future where fashion is not just stylish but also environmentally responsible.
