A bus traveling from Kolhapur to Borivali in Mumbai collided with an unidentified container truck near Lonavala, resulting in injuries to 23 passengers. Eleven passengers sustained serious injuries, while the rest suffered minor injuries. The police suspect that the bus driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to rear-end the heavy vehicle.
Bahraich Encounter Leaves Two Suspects Injured
In a dramatic encounter, the Uttar Pradesh Police shot two suspects, identified as Sarfaraz and Talib, in the Bahraich violence case. The two suspects were attempting to flee to Nepal when they were apprehended. According to the police, five individuals were arrested in connection with the case, and during a search for the murder weapon, Sarfaraz and Talib fired upon the police. In self-defense, the police retaliated, injuring the two suspects. They are currently undergoing treatment and are alive.
