Farooq Abdullah Condemns Gagangir Terror Attack, Vows ‘Kashmir Pakistan Nahi Banega’

In the wake of the tragic terror attack in Gagangir, Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President and veteran politician Farooq Abdullah has delivered a powerful message of defiance and unity. Addressing the devastating incident that claimed the lives of innocent civilians, including laborers and a doctor, Abdullah declared that the perpetrators’ aim of establishing a Pakistani state in Kashmir will never be realized.

He asserted, “This attack was deeply unfortunate. It’s a tragedy that innocent lives were lost, including poor laborers and a doctor. What do these terrorists hope to achieve with this? Do they believe they can create a Pakistan here?”

Abdullah’s remarks resonate with the collective sentiment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have long endured the scourge of terrorism. He emphasized the need for a decisive response to put an end to this violence.

Addressing Pakistan directly, Abdullah stated, “If you seek good relations with India, you must put an end to this. ‘Kashmir Pakistan nahi banega.’ Let us live with dignity and prosper. It’s time to end terrorism, otherwise, the consequences will be severe.”

He further challenged the notion that the attack could be a step towards achieving any political objective. “They couldn’t create a Pakistan in 75 years, how can they possibly do it now?” he questioned.

Underscoring the futility of violence, Abdullah emphasized that dialogue is impossible in the face of such brutal acts. “How can we hold talks when they kill our innocent people?” he said, highlighting the tragic reality of the situation.

Farooq Abdullah’s unwavering condemnation of the Gagangir terror attack and his call for decisive action against terrorism are a powerful testament to the resilience of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the face of adversity. His words serve as a rallying cry for peace and a reminder that the dreams of a united and peaceful Kashmir will not be deterred by acts of terror.
