Época Cosmetics Turns Ilha Fiscal Pink for 18th Anniversary Bash with Star-Studded Lineup

The historic Ilha Fiscal, known for hosting the last ball of the Brazilian Empire in 1889, was bathed in a vibrant shade of pink last night (24th) as Época Cosmetics celebrated its 18th anniversary. The event was a star-studded affair, drawing in influencers, content creators, executives, and partners for an unforgettable evening.

A pink carpet welcomed guests, including actresses Erika Januza and Sophia Abrahao, influencer Carla Diaz, and musical sensations Duda Beat and Ludmilla, who graced the stage as the surprise guest of the night. Model and influencer Letticia Muniz greeted the arriving stars.

Kicking off the celebration, Frederico Trajano, CEO of the Magazine Luiza group, announced that the pioneering beauty marketplace is preparing to launch its first physical stores, marking a new era for the brand after a decade of digital success.

Duda Beat, the star of the brand’s 18th anniversary campaign, took to the stage, delivering a dynamic set that showcased the diverse and genuine beauty of the singer’s personality. Her performance blended tracks from her three albums: “Sinto Muito,” “Te Amo Lá Fora,” and “Tara e Tal,” creating an unforgettable experience for the audience. Dressed in a latex and chain outfit, Duda performed her smash hit “Bixinho,” captivating the crowd.

Ludmilla, the Maybelline ambassador, closed the celebration with a bang, delivering a powerful set that blended pop, funk, pagode, and sertanejo. Maybelline was present both on stage with Ludmilla and at the pink carpet, showcasing their brand’s support for the music icon. The dance floor was alive with energy as guests swayed to hits like “Maldivas,” “Onda Diferente,” and “Favela Chegou.” Ludmilla arrived on the pink carpet in a bomber jacket and asymmetrical skirt, but changed into a sportier outfit for her electrifying performance.

Beyond the music, guests were treated to an array of beauty experiences and new launches from partner brands like Lancôme, Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Vichy, and many more. The event became a hub for beauty enthusiasts to express their passion through their looks.

Actress Erika Januza shared her thoughts on the current lipstick trend: “For a long time I relied on nude lipsticks, but now I love to be bold. I think [people of] all skin tones can wear any color of lipstick, so why not pink?”

Sophia Abrahao, a believer in beauty classics, emphasized her love for mascara: “I’ve always worn false eyelashes, and I still like them, but I’ve been using more mascara than ever. Sometimes I don’t put on any makeup, open my eyes, apply mascara, and it all works out!”

The 18th anniversary celebration of Época Cosmetics was not just a party; it was a powerful statement about the brand’s journey, its commitment to beauty as a form of self-expression, and its exciting plans for the future.
