Lucid Motors, the Silicon Valley-based electric vehicle innovator, has officially announced that orders for its highly anticipated SUV, the Lucid Gravity, will open on November 7th, 2024, at 9:00 am Pacific Time. The first trim available for order will be the Grand Touring, priced from $94,900, boasting over 800 horsepower and a projected range exceeding 440 miles. Production for the Grand Touring model is scheduled to begin in late 2024, followed by the standard Touring model in late 2025, with a starting price of $79,900.
The Lucid Gravity promises to be a game-changer in the luxury SUV market, aiming to combine unparalleled versatility, performance, design, and all-around capability. The initial order period will focus on customers in the United States, with existing Lucid owners given priority for securing their Gravity. Customers will be able to configure and order their vehicle directly through Lucid’s website, customizing their dream SUV to their liking.
Designed to be the ultimate SUV, the Lucid Gravity offers spacious seating for up to seven adults, ample cargo space, and even an optional frunk seat that can accommodate two adults when parked. The vehicle boasts a remarkable 120 cubic feet of total usable cargo space, including the frunk. Lucid Gravity leverages the company’s renowned electric powertrain technology, including in-house electric motors, to achieve a projected range surpassing 440 miles with a battery pack similar to the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring. This efficient powertrain promises a confident and agile driving experience while maximizing interior spaciousness.
Further enhancing the driving experience, the Lucid Gravity features an optional three-chamber air suspension that adapts to varying terrain, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride while maintaining precise handling.
Information regarding pricing, ordering, and deliveries for the Lucid Gravity in markets outside the U.S. will be released at a later date.
