MariMed Launches ‘Help on the Homefront’ Initiative to Support Veterans’ Housing Needs

MariMed, a leading multi-state marijuana operator, is stepping up to support veterans in need. The company has announced the launch of ‘Help on the Homefront,’ a philanthropic initiative aimed at addressing the housing challenges faced by veterans across the country.

This program, spearheaded by MariMed’s value-focused brand, InHouse, will provide tangible financial relief to veterans struggling with housing expenses or essential home improvements. Starting in November, InHouse will award $5,000 to a veteran in each of its retail markets, including Maryland, Massachusetts, Delaware, and Illinois.

‘Help on the Homefront’ was created to acknowledge the sacrifices veterans have made for our nation and offer meaningful support to those facing housing-related difficulties,’ stated Olya Key, brand director for InHouse at MariMed. ‘We hope this program can provide some assistance to veterans in our communities as a small way of giving back.’

Beginning on November 1st, eligible veterans aged 21 and over can enter to win online. Friends and family are also encouraged to submit entries on behalf of a veteran. No purchase is necessary to participate. Winners will be randomly selected and announced after the program concludes on November 30th.

MariMed’s commitment to this initiative demonstrates its dedication to giving back to the community and acknowledging the unique challenges veterans often face. This program offers a vital lifeline to veterans struggling with housing insecurity, allowing them to focus on rebuilding their lives and achieving stability.

MariMed shares closed Wednesday’s market session 1.25% higher at $0.16 per share.
