Hollywood power couple Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have reportedly called it quits after three years together, one year after they got engaged. Multiple sources confirmed the split to People Magazine, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
The news comes just after Tatum took to Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of an article announcing his casting in a new film alongside Kravitz, ‘Alpha Gang.’ This film, a sci-fi comedy about an alien invasion, marks the pair’s third collaboration, following their work on Kravitz’s directorial debut, ‘Blink Twice’, where Tatum starred.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in August 2021 when they were spotted together riding a BMX bike in New York City. The following month, they attended the Met Gala together, officially confirming their relationship. Later that year, Tatum took to Instagram to share a picture of them dressed as characters from Martin Scorsese’s ‘Taxi Driver’ for Halloween, solidifying their status as a couple.
After dating for two years, they announced their engagement in late October 2022. Their relationship seemed to be going strong, with them attending numerous red carpet events together, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for Kravitz’s father, Lenny Kravitz, in March 2023. They even posed for pictures together at the premiere of ‘Blink Twice’ in August and were seen together at a Broadway show just a few weeks ago.
However, Kravitz has been spotted without her engagement ring in recent weeks, leading to speculation about a possible split.
‘Alpha Gang’, starring and produced by Cate Blanchett, is set to begin filming in spring 2025. The film, a science fiction comedy, features a stellar cast that includes Tatum, Kravitz, Dave, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough. The project is directed by filmmaking duo David and Nathan Zellner, best known for their critically acclaimed film ‘Damsel’.
While fans are undoubtedly heartbroken by the news of their breakup, both Tatum and Kravitz are expected to remain busy with their careers. Tatum is currently filming ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance’, while Kravitz is set to star in the highly anticipated ‘The Batman’ sequel.
