Furthermore, 99.43% of respondents still consider whitepapers necessary, underscoring their ongoing relevance in establishing project credibility and outlining foundational principles.
However, the survey also unveiled a notable shift in the landscape. Key opinion leaders (KOLs) are increasingly influencing trading decisions. Among participants who don’t always read whitepapers, a substantial 86.51% rely on KOL recommendations, while a smaller percentage turn to research institutions or personal networks.
This trend reveals a growing reliance on influencer-driven insights, which are starting to rival whitepaper-based evaluations, reflecting broader changes in how information is consumed and trusted in the crypto space.
