This high traffic continued throughout the holiday period, from October 18th to November 3rd, with a total of 1.386 million passengers boarding 9,007 flights. This surge in passenger numbers also contributed to a strong year-to-date performance. From January to October 2024, BER welcomed 21.62 million passengers, reflecting a 10.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023, when 19.55 million travelers passed through the airport.

The airport’s environmental report reveals the installation of stationary noise measurement stations around key flight paths in Bohnsdorf, Waßmannsdorf, and Selchow.
