Aadhar Housing Finance IPO Lists at Issue Price on NSE and BSE
The much-anticipated initial public offering (IPO) of Aadhar Housing Finance has finally concluded with the stock listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The stock opened at its issue price of ₹315 on the NSE, while it debuted at ₹314.30 on the BSE, marking a marginal discount of 0.22%.
The IPO, which was open for subscription from May 8 to May 10, drew overwhelming investor interest. The overall subscription rate reached an impressive 26.76 times, with qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) exhibiting the strongest demand, subscribing 76.42 times their allotted portion. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) and retail investors also participated enthusiastically, subscribing 17.33 times and 2.58 times their respective quotas.
The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of 3.17 crore shares aggregating to ₹1,000 crore and an offer for sale of 6.35 crore shares aggregating to ₹2,000 crore. The company plans to utilize the proceeds from the IPO to meet its future capital requirements and for general corporate purposes.
