In a recent interview, actor Aayush Sharma, known for his upcoming film ‘Ruslaan,’ shared his experience embodying an action hero and the delightful reactions from his children. Released on April 26, ‘Ruslaan’ features Sharma alongside Sushrii Mishra.
Sharma expressed his amusement at his children’s disbelief in his action-packed role, describing himself as a playful father at home. However, he beamed with pride as he witnessed his son Ahil and daughter Ayat imitating his action moves and exclaimed, “This is ‘Ruslaan’ move 1 and move 2!”
The actor recounted his son’s visit to the set where he witnessed Sharma filming action scenes. The child expressed his awe with the phrase, “great gun shifter,” referring to Sharma’s swift weapon handling. Sharma shared his delight at his children’s newfound admiration for his action star status.
“Nowadays, they take me seriously as an action star. When they watch Power Rangers, they show me sequences they think I can do on screen. It’s amazing, and I love it,” Sharma said. He added that being regarded as an action hero by his children is a special feeling for a father.
In 2014, Sharma married Arpita Khan, Salman Khan’s youngest sister. They welcomed their son Ahil in 2016 and daughter Ayat on December 27, 2019, who shares her birthday with her famous uncle.
Describing ‘Ruslaan,’ Sharma emphasized its captivating entertainment value, blending action with emotions, romance, and patriotism. “There’s a lot of entertainment and drama to be offered. It’s a film that can be enjoyed by all ages,” he said. Directed by Karan Butani, ‘Ruslaan’ hit theaters on April 26.
