Aayush Sharma, married to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Sharma, hails from a prominent political family in Himachal Pradesh. His father, Anil Sharma, and late grandfather, Sukh Ram, were renowned figures in the political arena. However, Aayush has chosen to forge a path in the entertainment industry, expressing that politics does not align with his passions.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Aayush candidly shared his reasons for pursuing a career in showbiz. He explained that acting was not an immediate calling but rather a gradual realization that he could express himself authentically through this medium. Aayush debuted in the 2018 film ‘Loveyatri’ and has since featured in films like ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’ sharing screen space with his brother-in-law Salman.
Aayush acknowledged that he lacks the innate qualities of a politician, like his father and grandfather, who possessed a profound connection with the public. He believes that his passion lies in storytelling and the creative aspects of filmmaking, which bring him immense joy and fulfillment.
In a previous interview with Hindustan Times, Aayush hinted at the possibility of venturing into politics in the future, but emphasized that he needed to feel a genuine calling and the ability to make a meaningful contribution to society. He also spoke about the challenges he faced in his journey to becoming an actor, with his father initially discouraging him due to doubts about his physical attributes. However, Aayush’s determination and belief in chasing his dreams led him to pursue his passion and establish himself in the film industry.
