Foreign Terrorist Implicated in Jammu and Kashmir Killing

A foreign terrorist identified as ‘Abu Hamza,’ belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist organization, has been identified as the perpetrator of a deadly attack that claimed the life of a government employee in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

On Monday, 40-year-old Mohammad Razaq was killed in the Kunda Top village of the Thanamandi area. The victim worked for the Social Welfare department, while his brother, Mohammad Tahir Choudhary, serves as a Territorial Army soldier. Razaq’s body was laid to rest in his village on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson stated that two LeT terrorists entered the residence of a Territorial Army official in the village. However, Choudhary managed to evade the attackers and remained unharmed.

Police have registered a case at the Thanamandi police station and have initiated an investigation to track down all those responsible for the terrorist act. Evidence has surfaced, revealing the identity of one of the assailants as a ‘foreign terrorist’ with the code name Abu Hamza.

Security forces are working diligently in the Rajouri-Poonch region to neutralize the terrorist group. A poster of Hamza’s likeness has been distributed, along with the announcement of a substantial reward of Rs 10 lakh for any information leading to his arrest. The police assure that the informant’s identity will remain strictly confidential.

The 32-year-old terrorist has been operating in the Shadra Sharief and Der ki Gali areas, and authorities believe he is involved in multiple terrorist activities. Whoever provides credible information leading to Hamza’s capture will be eligible for the promised reward.
