Academic Achievements Revealed: WBBSE Madhyamik 10th Result Analysis

WBBSE Madhyamik 10th Result Analysis Reveals Gender Performance Gaps

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the results of the Madhyamik 10th examinations, highlighting the academic achievements of students across the state. Despite higher female enrollment, male students have outperformed their female counterparts, with a success rate of 89.21% compared to 83.9%. This gender gap is also evident in the compartmental exam results, where 8.33% of males qualified compared to 10.65% of females.

An analysis of the results shows that among Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, the success rate was 30% for females and 70% for males. Similarly, among Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the success rate was 32% for females and 68% for males. These statistics indicate a significant gender disparity in academic performance within these marginalized communities.

The WBBSE Madhyamik 10th Result Analysis provides valuable insights into the performance of male and female students, as well as the challenges faced by SC and ST candidates. These findings can inform interventions aimed at promoting gender equality and improving educational outcomes for all students in West Bengal.
