Accor Welcomes Back Hospitality Veteran Patricia to Lead Luxe RJ Cluster Sales and Marketing

Rio de Janeiro’s acclaimed hospitality scene welcomes back a familiar face as Patricia steps into a pivotal role within Accor’s Luxe RJ Cluster. She takes on the mantle of managing Sales & Marketing, as well as Groups & Events for the cluster, which boasts an impressive portfolio of luxury properties. This includes the iconic Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, the charming Santa Teresa MGallery, the highly anticipated Sofitel Ipanema (set to open soon), and the vibrant beach clubs Tropik and Sel d’Ipanema.

Patricia brings a wealth of experience to this role, having honed her expertise in the luxury hotel sector for over two decades. She holds a Hospitality Management degree from Estoril Higher School of Hospitality and Tourism, further fortified by a postgraduate qualification in Hotel Management from Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon. Her impressive track record includes contributions to esteemed establishments like the Pergola Boutique Hotel, the Onyria Quinta da Marina Hotel, and the Pestana Palace Hotel & National Monument in Portugal.

Patricia’s journey with Accor began in Brazil in 2011 as the Sales Director at Sofitel Copacabana. Her dedication and skills saw her rise to the position of Regional Cluster Sales Director for Sofitel in Rio by 2014, a role she held until 2017. Following a successful stint in Portugal, where she held prominent positions like Director of New Business at InterContinental Estoril and Sales Director at Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade, Patricia most recently excelled as the Commercial Director for DUCO Travel Summit.

Upon her return to Accor, Patricia expressed her enthusiasm for this new chapter: “I am deeply committed to building a positive, collaborative culture that consistently achieves outstanding business results. I am thrilled to begin this new chapter with such a talented team.”
