Adora Cruises, the burgeoning Chinese cruise brand, made waves at the recent Shanghai International Cruise Festival by unveiling its comprehensive 2025 cruise schedule. This ambitious plan promises to cater to both domestic and international travelers with a diverse array of sailings across Asia.
The highlight of the schedule is the deployment of two ships, the Adora Magic City and the Adora Mediterranea, operating year-round from six strategically located Chinese ports. The Adora Magic City, a marvel of Chinese shipbuilding, is the first large cruise ship constructed in China. This 5,246-passenger vessel will continue its year-round operations from Shanghai, embarking on over 80 cruises. Its itineraries will offer travelers a choice of four to seven-night voyages to various destinations in Japan and South Korea.
Meanwhile, the Adora Mediterranea, a seasoned cruiser that previously sailed under the Costa Cruises banner, will serve as a hub for cruises from five other Chinese ports: Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, and Dalian. This ship will cater to a broader spectrum of travel preferences with itineraries ranging from two to five nights. Travelers can choose from over ten ports of call, including enticing destinations in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
With nearly 170 sailings planned, Adora Cruises has positioned itself as a major player in the Asian cruise market. This ambitious schedule signals the company’s commitment to providing travelers with unforgettable experiences and diverse itineraries to destinations across the region.
