AEW Double or Nothing is one of the company’s marquee events, and the 2024 edition promises to be another stacked show. The card features a first-time AEW in-ring debut, a hardcore Anarchy in the Arena match, and title defenses for the AEW World, TBS, and TNT Championships.
The main event will see AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland make his first PPV title defense against Christian Cage. Strickland has been on a dominant run since winning the title in January, and Cage is a veteran challenger who is always a threat to win. The other title match on the card will see AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale defend her title against Mercedes Moné, who is making her AEW in-ring debut.
The Anarchy in the Arena match is sure to be a wild and chaotic affair. The match will feature The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, Matthew Jackson, and Nicholas Jackson) taking on Team AEW (Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, and FTR). These two teams have been feuding for months, and this match is sure to be a blowoff to their rivalry.
In addition to the title matches and Anarchy in the Arena, the Double or Nothing card also features several other intriguing matchups. Adam Copeland will defend the AEW TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, and “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Serena Deeb.
Double or Nothing will take place on Sunday, May 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fans can watch the event live on pay-per-view on Bleacher Report’s website or the B/R app. The PPV can also be purchased from traditional cable and satellite providers, along with DAZN. International fans can watch AEW Double or Nothing on Sky Italia, EuroSport India, Foxtel, New World TV, Starzplay, Begin OTT, and SpoTV.
