Agra Traffic Police Issues Advisory Ahead of PM Modi’s Rally
The Agra traffic police have issued a detailed traffic advisory in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Kothi Meena Bazaar Ground on Thursday, April 20, 2023. To ensure the safety and convenience of commuters, certain routes will be diverted during the event.
Route Diversions:
1. Vehicles approaching from Collectorate Tiraha, except those attending the public meeting, will be prohibited from proceeding towards Tehsil intersection. They will be rerouted via MG Road, Hariparvat, Speed Color Lab, Sursadan Diwani Roundabout, and Bhagwan Talkies to reach their destinations.
2. Vehicles coming from Subhash Park intersection, again excluding those bound for the rally, will not be permitted to proceed towards Panchkuiya intersection. Their route will be diverted via MG Road, Hariparvat, Speed Color Lab, Sursadan Diwani Roundabout, and Bhagwan Talkies.
3. Vehicles approaching from Nalband intersection, except for those attending the public meeting, will not be allowed to proceed towards Panchkuiya intersection. Their route will be diverted via MG Road, Hariparvat, Speed Color Lab, Sursadan Diwani Roundabout, and Bhagwan Talkies.
4. Vehicles coming from St. John’s intersection, again excluding those bound for the rally, will not be permitted to proceed towards Lohamandi intersection. Their route will be diverted via MG Road, Hariparvat, Speed Color Lab, Sursadan Diwani Roundabout, and Bhagwan Talkies.
5. Vehicles coming from Lohamandi intersection, excluding those attending the public meeting, will not be allowed to proceed towards the Kothi Meena Bazaar program venue. They will be rerouted via St. John’s, MG Road, and Bodla intersection to reach their destinations.
6. Vehicles approaching from Bodla intersection, except for those attending the rally, will not be permitted to proceed towards Lohamandi intersection. Their route will be diverted via Sikandra, Bhawna Tower, NH-19, and MG Road.
7. Vehicles coming from Madiya Katra intersection, again excluding those bound for the public meeting, will not be permitted to proceed towards Lohamandi intersection. Their route will be diverted via Bhawna Tower, Agrasen Ghoda Murti, Hariparvat Square, RBS Square, and MG Road.
8. Vehicles coming from Speed Color Lab Tiraha (Shahganj), again excluding those bound for the rally, will not be permitted to proceed towards the Kothi Meena Bazaar venue.
9. Vehicles approaching from Speed Color Lab Tiraha (Shahganj), again excluding those bound for the public meeting, will not be permitted to proceed towards Sattolala Halwai.
10. No vehicles of any kind will be allowed to proceed from COD Tiraha towards Ramnagar culvert.
11. Vehicles coming from Maruti State Square, except for those attending the public meeting, will not be permitted to proceed towards Ramnagar culvert and Kothi Meena Bazaar. They will be rerouted via Avadhpuri 100-foot road and Bodla to reach their destinations.
12. No vehicles of any kind will be allowed from Shankargarh culvert towards Ramnagar culvert and Prithvinath gate. They will be rerouted via Albatiya and Avadhpuri 100-foot road.
13. Entry of all types of vehicles will be restricted from Prithvinath gate towards Bhogipura and Shankargarh culvert.
14. Entry of vehicles like autos, e-rickshaws, and battery rickshaws will be completely banned from Lohamandi towards Kothi Meena Bazaar venue, Speed Color Lab (Shahganj) towards Ladli Katra Kothi Meena Bazaar and Sattolala Halwai, Speed Color Lab (Shahganj) towards Shahganj, Bhogipura and Soro Katra, Bhogi Pura towards Rui Ki Mandi, and on the Tehsil side, from Barhakhambha Railway Gate towards Rui Ki Mandi, and from Pachkuiya towards Soro Katra, Shahganj, GIC Ground, and Kothi Meena Bazaar event venue.
15. Buses bringing attendees to the public meeting from Fatehpur Sikri will drop off passengers at Prithvinath Gate and park on both sides of the road towards Pathauli, 100 meters ahead of Tatanagar Gate. Attendees will then proceed to the public meeting venue via Prithvinath Gate, Bhogipura, Speed Color Lab, Ladli Katra, Kothi Meena Bazaar, and Tiraha.
16. Vehicles coming from Fatehpur Sikri towards Agra will be diverted from Pathauli Canal intersection and Vayu Vihar intersection.
17. Entry of all types of heavy vehicles will be restricted from Vayu Vihar Tirahe towards Prithvinath Gate.
Commuters are advised to adhere to the traffic advisory and plan their出行 accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. The Agra traffic police will be deployed to enforce the diversions and ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.
