The Association for Hajj and Umrah Operations of Nigeria (AHUON) has forged a groundbreaking partnership with Saudi-based Flyadeal Airline to streamline the airlifting process for Nigerian pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. This collaboration aims to alleviate the challenges faced by pilgrims, providing them with smoother and more efficient travel arrangements.
During the inaugural departure of the first batch of pilgrims at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Malam Aliyu Abdulrazak, the Commissioner for Policy Personnel Management and Finance at the National Hajj Commission, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the collaboration despite initial hurdles. He urged pilgrims to uphold the reputation of Nigeria by avoiding any misconduct during their journey.
Alhaji Usman Ambursa, the National Vice President of AHUON, expressed gratitude for the successful departure of the first batch comprising 304 pilgrims bound for Madina. He emphasized that the collaboration with Flyadeal Airline aims to optimize Hajj operations, ensuring the smooth airlifting of all Nigerian pilgrims without any oversights. Ambursa highlighted that the collaboration extends to multiple batches of pilgrims, with the final group hailing from Kano State. He acknowledged the crucial support of the National Hajj Commission in achieving this milestone, emphasizing the importance of facilitating an easier Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
Flyadeal Airline, a Saudi Arabian carrier, has joined forces with AHUON to provide relief to Nigerian pilgrims, minimizing the risk of missing out on Hajj after they have made their financial commitments. This partnership addresses the longstanding challenge of limited airline options in Hajj operations, ensuring that Nigerian pilgrims can embark on their spiritual journey with greater peace of mind.
The collaboration between AHUON and Flyadeal Airline represents a significant step towards enhancing the Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims, underscoring the commitment to facilitating smoother and more accessible pilgrimage journeys to Saudi Arabia.
