In a move that strengthens its commitment to Canadian sports, Air Canada has solidified its role as the Official Airline of Team Canada through the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This commitment includes the upcoming Paris 2024 event. To mark the occasion, Air Canada unveiled a custom Boeing 777 adorned with a distinct livery, which will be utilized to transport Team Canada athletes, coaches, and support staff.
As part of its deepened partnership, Air Canada will offer exceptional services and ensure a smooth travel experience for over 1,000 Team Canada athletes and delegates. The airline’s ‘Going for Gold’ employee program will be instrumental in this endeavor. Air Canada’s unwavering support for Canadian athletes extends beyond transportation, as the airline actively celebrates diversity and inclusion.
To champion these values, Air Canada has appointed ten Team Air Canada athlete ambassadors who embody Canadian excellence. These individuals represent a diverse range of sporting disciplines and exemplify the spirit of inclusivity, openness, and kindness. The athlete ambassador initiative will continue for the 2026, 2028, and 2030 Games, featuring a new roster of athletes each time.
Air Canada’s partnership with Team Canada extends beyond the upcoming Games.
