A disturbing incident occurred earlier this week at the Radisson Red Hotel in London, where an Air India cabin crew member was assaulted by an intruder. The incident took place on Thursday night while several Air India flight crew members were staying at the hotel, located near Heathrow Airport. According to reports, the crew member was asleep in her room when an intruder attacked her around 1:30 am. The assailant, who allegedly used a clothes hanger as a weapon, dragged the crew member on the floor as she tried to escape.
The crew member was able to alert hotel staff and the intruder was apprehended. Authorities were notified and the individual was taken into custody. The victim sustained bruises while trying to escape the attacker and received medical treatment at a local hospital. She is now en route to Mumbai.
Air India issued a statement expressing deep concern over the incident, emphasizing their commitment to the safety and well-being of their crew members. The airline confirmed that they are providing support to the affected crew member, including professional counseling.
