Air India announced on Friday that its relief flight AI1179 has departed from Mumbai (BOM) to Krasnoyarsk, Russia (KJA). The flight is expected to arrive at Krasnoyarsk at 8:00 PM local time on July 19, 2024.
The airline shared a statement on X (formerly Twitter) stating that an Air India team, including crew and security personnel, is on board the flight to provide support to passengers and staff at Krasnoyarsk. The ferry flight is carrying essential supplies in addition to a sufficient amount of food for all passengers.
