AirAsia Extends India Network with New Jaipur Route

AirAsia continues to expand its network with the launch of a new route connecting Kuala Lumpur to Jaipur, India. This marks the airline’s thirteenth nonstop connection between Malaysia and India.

The inaugural flight to Jaipur, the capital of India’s Rajasthan state, was operated by an Airbus A320neo. The flight departed Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) at 19:40 and arrived at Jaipur Airport (JAI) at 22:17.

AirAsia is the only airline in Malaysia to offer direct flights to Jaipur, which is known for its vintage heritage forts and the majestic Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. The airline is excited to connect these two cities and offer more travel opportunities to its guests.

AirAsia has been flying between India and Malaysia since 2008 and has carried millions of guests between the two nations since then. The airline is committed to further expanding its network in India and looks forward to welcoming more visitors to Malaysia following the government’s announcement of visa-free entry last year.

In addition to Jaipur, AirAsia operates 78 weekly nonstop flights from Kuala Lumpur to 13 cities across India, including Trivandrum, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Jaipur. New routes to Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, and Ahmedabad will also be commencing soon.

AirAsia X, AirAsia’s medium-haul affiliate, also operates to two major Indian destinations, New Delhi and Amritsar. AirAsia X Malaysia operates those routes with an Airbus A330-300, offering eight flights weekly.

AirAsia is committed to providing affordable air travel and connecting people across the region. The airline’s guests can now enjoy more travel choices and seamless connectivity between Malaysia and India.
