The airline is responding to increasing passenger demand by enhancing flight frequencies on eight existing routes from Riga, Latvia. The destinations benefiting from these increased services include Billund, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Larnaca, Oslo, Porto, Stockholm, and Tampere. This move will offer passengers more flexibility and convenient travel options, enhancing connectivity and providing a wider range of destination choices from Riga.

He stated, “In addition to the recent announcement of 16 new routes for the summer season 2025, we are also increasing the frequency of flights on eight existing routes from Riga. Our commitment is to provide our customers with more travel options for leisure, business, and onward connectivity needs. Additional flights on these routes are in direct response to the rising demand we’ve observed, and we’re excited to offer even more convenient ways for our passengers to reach their chosen destinations.”

airBaltic’s growth extends beyond Riga, as the airline is expanding its network in Estonia and Lithuania as well. This includes launching new destinations and increasing flight frequencies on various routes from Tallinn and Vilnius. Ramdahl emphasizes airBaltic’s position as the leading and most favored airline in the Baltic States.

The airline’s expansion plans include the introduction of 16 new flight routes across the Baltic States for the summer 2025 season. Four new routes will launch from Riga, five from Tallinn, and seven from Vilnius. These new destinations include Mykonos, Cluj-Napoca, Stavanger, Ibiza, Rzeszów, and others.

Currently, airBaltic operates a comprehensive route network of over 130 routes originating from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria.
