airBaltic, a leading airline in the Baltics, is continuing to expand its operations and is excited to announce a new open position for a Captain to pilot their Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The airline is also offering a competitive sign-up bonus for new team members. In addition, airBaltic is actively recruiting Senior First Officers with opportunities for rapid advancement to command positions on the Airbus A220-300. Eligible professionals who join airBaltic between September 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, will receive a sign-up bonus – EUR 15,000 gross for Captains and EUR 10,000 gross for Senior First Officers.
Furthering its growth strategy in the Baltic region, airBaltic will open new crew bases in Tallinn, Estonia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, starting November 1, 2024. For the upcoming summer season, the airline will also establish temporary crew stations in Munich, Germany, Vienna, Austria, and Brussels, Belgium. In January 2025, airBaltic plans to introduce enhanced compensation packages and scheduling flexibility for both pilots and cabin crew, including increased days off.

The airBaltic fleet consists entirely of Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with the airline currently operating 48 of these models. airBaltic has ambitious plans to expand its fleet to include 100 Airbus A220-300s by 2030.
