AirBaltic Training Unveils Tenth Training Aircraft and Showcases Planies NFT-Themed Livery

Pauls Cālītis, airBaltic’s Chief Operations Officer, emphasized the significance of the new aircraft, stating that it is a testament to the Pilot Academy’s commitment to investing in top-notch training aircraft. He expressed pride in the academy’s progress and its proven track record. airBaltic anticipates a rising demand for pilots and looks forward to welcoming more students to its program, recognizing the importance of skilled and well-trained professionals for an airline’s success.

She highlighted the longstanding and positive relationship between airBaltic Training and Diamond Aircraft, expressing their commitment to continuing support with their efficient and safe aircraft.

The airBaltic Pilot Academy currently trains 135 active students, primarily from the Baltic nations but also from other EU countries such as Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, and Italy. Notably, over 10% of the students are female. Since its inception, the academy has successfully graduated 97 students who have joined airBaltic.
