At the recent Gateway Gulf 2024 investment forum, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), a landmark announcement was made: Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) and Daiki Aluminium Industry Company Ltd. have joined forces to create a joint venture, Alba-Daiki Sustainable Solutions (ADSS). This strategic partnership will establish a state-of-the-art and sustainable aluminum waste processing facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The announcement, made during the forum, underscores Bahrain’s unwavering dedication to economic diversification and environmental sustainability. Alba will hold a 70% stake in the joint venture, while Daiki will hold the remaining 30%. The partners are targeting September 2026 for the commencement of operations, marking a significant milestone for environmental management and technological advancement in the region.
