Residents of Delhi can store up to 18 liters of alcohol, including beer and wine. The limit for rum, whiskey, vodka, and gin is set at nine liters. Taking alcohol outside Delhi is limited to one liter.
Maharashtra:
Alcohol consumption in Maharashtra requires a license. Mumbai residents need a permit to purchase, transport, and consume both domestic and imported alcoholic beverages.
Haryana:
Specific limits apply to alcohol storage in Haryana. Residents can possess a maximum of six bottles of local liquor, 18 bottles of IMFL (including a maximum of six imported bottles), 12 beer bottles, six rum bottles, six vodka/cider/gin bottles, and 12 wine bottles.
Punjab:
For Punjab, the home storage limits for alcohol are as follows: two IMFL bottles, one case of beer, two foreign liquor bottles, two domestic liquor bottles, and one bottle of brandy.
Uttar Pradesh:
Alcohol storage limits in Uttar Pradesh allow 1.5 liters of foreign alcoholic beverages, two liters of wine, and six liters of beer.
Rajasthan:
Residents of Rajasthan can store a maximum of 12 bottles or nine liters of IMFL.
Jammu and Kashmir:
The laws in Jammu and Kashmir permit the storage of 12 bottles of IMFL, including the 750 ml JK Desi Whisky, along with 12 beer bottles of 650 ml each.
Himachal Pradesh:
In Himachal Pradesh, residents can store up to 48 beer bottles and 36 whisky bottles at home.
