Aldi is launching a new range of candles that are said to smell just like their designer counterparts, but at a fraction of the price. The supermarket giant is set to introduce its new home fragrance collection from this weekend as part of its weekly Specialbuys.
The popular Aldi fragrance, Cardinal Red Eau de Parfum, has been transformed into a candle and diffuser by the retailer, with two additional scents also set to hit the shelves. The Hotel Collection Classic Rouge candles will be available in stores from July 25, priced at just £4.99 each.
According to the store, these products have been inspired by “TikTok trends of woody and floral aromas”. Each candle and diffuser is also said to “boast a melody of luxurious natural scents.”
The candles bear a striking resemblance to the Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 540 candle, both featuring a white glass jar and gold lid. However, while the designer version also sports red branding on the front, the Aldi version does not. The Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 540 candle currently retails for £95, whereas Aldi’s range starts from a mere £4.99. This means shoppers could save approximately £90 by opting for the budget-friendly alternative.
The range features a variety of scents, including:
*
Cardinal Red
– A blend of sweet, floral jasmine with a hint of sandalwood, creating a smooth aroma to soothe rooms.*
Liquid Luxe
– Woody and spicy juniper berry, mixed with sweet, powdery amber and finished off with the fresh scent of rose.*
Intense Passion
– A vibrant blend of rosy pink pepper, intertwined with citrusy orange blossom, all rounded off with a subtle hint of powdery musk.Remember, these products won’t be available for long and as with all Specialbuys – once they’re gone, they’re gone. You’ll need to act fast if you want to get your hands on the new range in stores.
