Actor Alec Baldwin was involved in a heated exchange with an anti-Israel protester who repeatedly asked him to say ‘Free Palestine’ during a visit to a coffee shop on Saturday, April 22. The incident was captured on video by the protester and has been circulating online.
In the video, Baldwin can be seen shopping while the woman behind the camera repeatedly asks the actor to say ‘Free Palestine.’ The situation reportedly escalated when the protester referenced the tragic on-set shooting on the set of the film ‘Rust,’ where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed. The protester specifically mentioned Baldwin not facing jail time.
The woman then uploaded the video on her X account and wrote, ‘White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me. While I was trying to get coffeee (sic).’
Baldwin has been a vocal supporter of Israel in the past, and this is not the first time he has been targeted by protesters. In December 2021, a similar incident occurred during a pro-Palestine rally in New York City.
Neither Baldwin nor his representatives have commented on the latest incident.
