Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor, recently shared insights into the support and comfort Alia Bhatt provided during the challenging period following the demise of their father, Rishi Kapoor. Riddhima revealed that Alia’s unwavering presence and emotional support were a source of strength for the Kapoor family, particularly for Neetu Kapoor.
In an interview with Galatta India, Riddhima expressed her gratitude for Alia’s daily visits with Ranbir, saying, “They both were amazing. When they would leave, I would think of ways to make my mother happy, so I would invite all my cousins just to pass the time so that she is happy.”
Riddhima also shed light on Ranbir’s tendency to keep his emotions private, stating, “That’s not a good thing. I am sure he has spoken to Alia about it. She was a great support. She has been there at a bad time and she has been a part of it. Ranbir doesn’t talk about his feelings, he doesn’t emote much off-screen. It was a difficult time.”
Riddhima went on to praise Alia’s exceptional qualities, describing her as “a lovely girl” who is loving, kind, and giving. She expressed her belief that her brother was fortunate to have found such a wonderful partner.
Bharat Sahni, Riddhima’s husband, also shared his admiration for Alia, noting her relaxed and positive demeanor. He commented, “I love her vibe. She is very chilled out. No politics, she doesn’t like to gossip. So, a lot of similarities.”
In a separate development, Riddhima announced her entry into the acting world, confirming her debut in the popular web series “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.” This news was shared at an event in Mumbai.
