Alien Species is a 1996 sci-fi action movie directed by Peter Maris that follows a fleet of UFOs hovering over Earth and the chaos that ensues when the foreign creatures attack the planet. A scientist desperately searches for answers to understand their arrival, while a sheriff and his deputy are transporting prisoners when the aliens strike. Forced to seek shelter, they veer off course and find refuge in a cave.
