All London Drugs Stores in Western Canada to Reopen Tuesday

All London Drugs stores in Western Canada are expected to be open by the end of the day Tuesday, more than a week after a cyberattack forced their closure. London Drugs has not disclosed any details about the cyberattack but has stated that it has been working with external cybersecurity experts to ensure that all systems are safe and secure before reopening stores.

Core services have reopened in 40 stores across the region, including Canada Post locations within stores, the Insurance Services Call Centre, and optical locations. However, pharmacy customers will not be able to fill new prescriptions at this time and are urged to call their local pharmacy or visit the store in person during regular hours.

London Drugs has also stated that it has not seen any evidence that any customer databases were compromised, including those of pharmacy patients and LDExtras members.
