Alpitronic Americas, a globally recognized name in the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry, has officially opened its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. This move marks a significant step forward in the company’s ambitious plans to expand its reach and establish a robust network of chargers across North America.
The decision to establish a U.S. presence is fueled by the rapidly increasing adoption of electric vehicles by consumers. However, a crucial barrier to wider EV adoption remains – the lack of a dependable and widespread charging infrastructure. Alpitronic Americas aims to bridge this gap by providing superior engineering and design, ensuring reliable and efficient charging experiences for EV owners.
“While adoption is increasing, one of the main reasons some Americans hesitate to purchase an EV is the lack of a reliable network of chargers across the country,” explained Mike Doucleff, Alpitronic Americas CEO. “We are excited to bring Alpitronic’s superior engineering and design to the American market—delivering reduced charging time, increased reliability, and building confidence among consumers.”
Alpitronic’s Hyperchargers are renowned for their exceptional performance and efficiency, boasting an average efficiency rate exceeding 97.5 percent. This translates to quicker charging times and optimal energy usage for EV owners. The company’s comprehensive repair and service network ensures that chargers can be serviced anywhere in the country, providing peace of mind to both consumers and businesses.
The expansion into the U.S. market is a natural progression for Alpitronic, which has already achieved market leadership in Europe. This move allows the company to leverage its proven expertise and introduce its cutting-edge Hyperchargers to a new audience. Philipp Senoner, Alpitronic Co-Founder and CEO, stated, “As a natural part of Alpitronic’s growth, we are anxious to expand our industry-leading Hypercharger network from Europe, where we are market-share leader, to North America. We are pleased with the talent we are finding in North Carolina and look forward to setting a new standard for the EV charging network in the U.S.”
