In honor of World Turtle Day, Amilla Maldives and the Atoll Marine Centre (AMC) have joined forces to raise awareness about the significance of turtles in the ecosystem. Amilla Maldives, a resort committed to sustainable practices, celebrated the day with a range of activities for its guests.
Guests were treated to a turtle-themed breakfast before embarking on a Turtle Discovery Excursion to witness turtles in their natural habitat. The day also featured informative talks on marine biology and the opportunity to ‘adopt’ a turtle patient, supporting AMC’s conservation efforts.
