Speaking to CNN-News18’s Rohini Swamy, Shah emphasized the government’s unwavering stance on the CAA, stating, “Neither will they come to power, nor will they roll it (CAA) back.”
Shah’s strong statement comes amidst opposition from certain quarters demanding the repeal of the CAA. He maintained that the legislation is crucial for protecting persecuted minorities in neighboring countries.
In addition to the CAA, Shah also addressed the controversy surrounding the Congress party’s alleged involvement in a wealth distribution scheme. He accused the Congress of using public funds for personal gain, highlighting a recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the matter.
