Amitabh Bachchan’s Granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda Enrolls in IIM Ahmedabad

Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, has achieved a significant milestone in her career by securing a place at the esteemed Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. She will be embarking on a two-year Blended Post Graduate Programme for MBA, a testament to her commitment to academic excellence.

Navya took to Instagram to share her excitement about this ‘dream’ accomplishment, posting several photos from the IIM Ahmedabad campus and expressing her joy at being surrounded by talented peers and esteemed faculty. “Dreams do come true!!!!!! Excited for the next 2 years with the best people & faculty! Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) Class of 2026,” she captioned her post.

One of the photos featured Navya in a stylish black suit, while others showcased the picturesque campus and her new friends. She also shared an Instagram Story of herself cutting a cake, thanking her teacher Prasad for his guidance and support in her successful journey through the CAT/IAT – the highly competitive entrance exam for MBA admissions in India.

While Navya hails from a family deeply rooted in Bollywood, she has carved her own path in the world of entrepreneurship. In 2021, she established Project Naveli, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating gender inequality in India. She also hosts the popular podcast “What The Hell Navya,” where she engages in insightful conversations with her mother, Shweta Bachchan, and grandmother, Jaya Bachchan, on topics related to feminism and the vital role of women in society.

Shweta Bachchan has confirmed that Navya has no interest in following in the footsteps of her grandparents, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, uncle Abhishek Bachchan, aunt Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, or brother Agastya Nanda in the world of acting. During an event in June, when asked if Navya would pursue a career in Bollywood, Shweta stated, “I think you are very well acquainted with the work Navya does and she has her hands full. I don’t think Bollywood is the way to go for her.” She was present at the event to accept an award for her daughter’s podcast.

Navya’s journey from a family of renowned actors to pursuing an MBA at one of India’s most prestigious institutions reflects her independent spirit and commitment to making a difference in the world. Her entrepreneurial ventures and her dedication to fostering gender equality demonstrate her ambition and desire to create a positive impact beyond the world of Bollywood.
