Inviting your friends to join your Among Us game is simple:
1. From the main menu, select “Online play.”
2. Under the “Host” banner, choose “Create game.”
3. Select a map, the number of imposters (we recommend two for a 10-player game), and the chat language. Then press “Confirm.”
4. Once in the lobby, you’ll see a six-digit code under the “Start” button. Share this code with your friends.
5. Your friends can join your lobby by selecting “Online play” from their menu and entering the code under the “Private” banner.
Make sure your friends are on the same server as you. You can change your server in the bottom right corner of the “Online play” screen. The process remains the same across PC, Switch, iOS, and Android.
Cross-Save and Progression
Among Us doesn’t have a traditional save system. There’s no progression to track, so you can easily start from scratch on any platform. However, the game does feature cosmetic items you can purchase. Unfortunately, these items
cannot be transferred between platforms.
The same applies to any other purchases. For example, mobile versions have an ad-free option. You can’t transfer this purchase between your Android and iOS devices. Similarly, buying the game on Steam, Epic Games Store, or Itch.io doesn’t give you the ad-free version on mobile. The only exception is when using two devices from the same storefront. So, you can transfer your ad-free purchase between two Android devices or between an iPhone and iPad.
