Amora Hotels & Resorts has opened a corporate office in Sydney, Australia, to oversee its expansion plans in the Asia Pacific region. The company aims to double its current portfolio of six hotels to 12 within the next five years. The corporate office will be responsible for acquisitions, strategy, branding, operations, finance, and human resources management. The expansion will be led by Amora’s owner and Director, Earp Siriphatrawan, who is forming a skilled team to strengthen and grow the company. Ravi Chandran, a former senior executive at Banyan Tree with over two decades of experience, has joined Amora’s board as an independent director to enhance strategy and brand development. The Sydney corporate office will be managed by Tamer Habib, Group Vice President of Operations and former Starwood executive, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational success of both existing and newly acquired properties. Amora is committed to investing in people and products, seeking fresh opportunities for acquisitions, and innovating to lead the independent hotel space.
