During Wednesday’s episode of Loose Women, Amy Dowden expressed her gratitude for the kindness and support she received from Princess Kate during her cancer journey. Brenda Edwards, one of the panellists, asked if Dowden felt a connection with King Charles and Kate after their cancer diagnoses.
Dowden responded with an emphatic yes, particularly in the case of Princess Kate. She explained that she had the opportunity to meet the Princess while undergoing chemotherapy, and Kate had been incredibly understanding and supportive. Dowden shared that Kate had offered her help during that difficult time, saying, ‘Let us know if there is anything we can do.’
The 33-year-old dancer also mentioned her collaboration with King Charles, who revealed his cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Dowden praised the King’s initiative to encourage people to volunteer for cancer charities across the UK.
