Chunky Panday, the father of actress Ananya Panday, has spoken openly about his daughter’s relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur in a recent interview.
Chunky expressed that he is supportive of his daughter’s choices and is proud of her accomplishments in the film industry. He stated, “I think she is 25, she is earning more money than I did. She is free to do what she wants. How dare I tell my 25-year-old daughter what to do.”
Chunky also addressed Ananya’s intimate scenes in films, saying, “I have seen it in Hollywood. There is no harm. You have to accept it.”
He further revealed that his daughters are closer to their mother, Bhavana Panday, for advice. However, he is always there for them when needed.
Chunky praised Ananya’s determination in pursuing her career in the film industry. He recalled the moment she got her first film, saying, “I think they found her a little very young the first time, then she went for the audition and she got the film. She also got into New York and LA colleges, there was pressure on family.”
