The Premier League has inducted Andy Cole and John Terry into its Hall of Fame, joining Ashley Cole, who was honored earlier this year. Players and managers who have made significant contributions to the league’s success are recognized in the Hall of Fame. From a shortlist of 15 former professionals, the duo was chosen through a combination of fan votes and selections by the Premier League Awards Panel. Cole, who played for seven different clubs, holds numerous records, including the most goal involvements in a season (48 in 1993-94) and the fourth-highest goalscoring record. Notably, he was the first player to score five goals in a single match and one of three to have two or more hat-tricks at two different clubs. Terry, Chelsea’s legendary captain and former England skipper, is the only player to have played in every one of the Blues’ title-winning seasons. He holds the record for most defensive clean sheets (214) and is the division’s top-scoring defender with 41 goals. Both inductees expressed their pride and gratitude for the recognition. Cole stated, “I’m very proud to have been inducted into the Hall of Fame,” while Terry said, “To be recognized in this way makes me really proud.” All inductees receive a medallion and a £10,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
