Former unified heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (34) is set to make his long-awaited return to the ring on August 3rd in Los Angeles. The 34-year-old Mexican-American has not fought since his unanimous decision victory over Luis Ortiz in September 2022, a bout that saw him claim the WBC interim heavyweight title. Ruiz Jr. will face close friend and fellow heavyweight Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller (35) in an undercard fight on the same night as Terence Crawford’s clash with WBA light-middleweight world champion Israil Madrimov.
