The highly anticipated Paris Fashion Week, a cornerstone of the international fashion calendar, draws fashion enthusiasts eager to witness the latest creations from leading names in the industry. This season, which kicked off on Monday, September 23rd, has been no different. On Wednesday, September 25th, Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection unveiling saw the presence of Brazilian stars Anitta and Jade Picon, eager to witness the latest designs by Olivier Rousteing, the label’s creative director.
Anitta, a familiar face at top-tier fashion shows for several seasons now, opted for a dramatic, floor-length all-black gown. With layers of draping at the waist, the dress accentuated the silhouette of our very own ‘Girl from Rio.’ Completing the look, styled by Daniel Ueda, Anitta accessorized with short black velvet gloves, along with maximalist gold earrings and bracelets.
Jade, on the other hand, embraced optical illusions in a captivating look. Beyond the patterns, the structured shoulder pads, a defining element of Balmain’s style, further caught the eye in the influencer, entrepreneur, and actress’ ensemble. Before the runway show began, Jade spoke exclusively to Vogue Brazil: “I’m starting another fashion week in Paris today. I’m excited about the Balmain show and to see what Olivier brings. It will undoubtedly be a true spectacle!”
Besides the Brazilian stars, other international personalities graced the occasion, including rapper Cardi B. To stay updated on the latest in fashion, beauty, culture, and lifestyle, follow Vogue’s new WhatsApp channel for exclusive updates!
