Anya Taylor-Joy, a familiar face in the front row during Paris Fashion Week, was a VIP guest at Dior’s spring 2025 presentation. As a face for the brand, she affectionately refers to it as her ‘Dior family.’ After witnessing Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest collection, Taylor-Joy shared her impressions with Vogue.
She was particularly captivated by the performance aspects of the show. “I loved the fact that there was a performance element to it—not only with the models, but also with the artist [Sagg Napoli] who performed with the bow and arrow,” she shared. “It really made me want to give it a go!” We can only imagine how stunning she would look practicing her aim in her PFW ensemble.
For the event, Taylor-Joy chose elegant Dior pieces, pairing an embroidered white knit top with a white lace skirt. “The weather has been so changeable that I was trying to just kind of wing it,” she explained. She wasn’t sure whether to expect sunshine or showers, so she opted for a “summery crochet look, with tougher boots and a trench coat!”
Known for her eclectic boot collection, ranging from thigh-highs to Tabis, Taylor-Joy was naturally drawn to the footwear for the Dior show. “I love a boot,” she admitted. “I just will never have enough of them, and if I can stomp around in them forever, then that’s my boot. I felt like I could in the ones I wore today.” Her tousled hair, smokey eye makeup, and barely-there lipstick completed the look.
“We were trying to keep it in a nude tone and matte,” Taylor-Joy said about the lip color, which, for those curious, is Dior’s Beige Couture.
But fashion and beauty weren’t the only things on her agenda in Paris. Taylor-Joy has a special tradition she enjoys during her Parisian visits. “I always try to take a different walk that I haven’t taken before,” she revealed. “I feel so lucky that I get to come to Paris to work with Dior, and I’m always trying to get to know Paris a little bit better.”
After all, she’ll be back soon to work on another project. “I am literally about to start filming Sacrifice,” she shared excitedly. “It’s a Romain Gavras film, and I’m so, so excited to bring it to life. We’re shooting in some unbelievable locations and the script is so deep and so funny. I just can’t wait to shoot it and share it with everybody.”
We can’t wait to see her back on the big screen. Bring on the popcorn!
