## Apple Unveils Redesigned Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro for iPad Pro 2024
Alongside the launch of the iPad Pro 2024 models, Apple has introduced two new essential accessories: an upgraded Magic Keyboard and an innovative Apple Pencil Pro.
Magic Keyboard: Thinner, Lighter, and More Functional
The latest Magic Keyboard has undergone a redesign, making it both thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It now comes in a choice of colors to complement the new iPad Pro models, ensuring a stylish and cohesive aesthetic. Some new features include a function row equipped with screen brightness controls, an aluminum palm rest for added comfort, and a larger trackpad with haptic feedback for enhanced control.
The Magic Keyboard is available for the 11-inch iPad Pro at $299 and the 13-inch iPad Pro at $349. It supports layouts for over 30 languages, ensuring global accessibility. You can preorder your new keyboard now, and the first shipments will arrive next week alongside the new iPad Pro models.
Apple Pencil Pro: Taking Pencil Experience to a New Level
Apple also announced the Apple Pencil Pro, promising to elevate the pencil experience to new heights. It’s equipped with a sensor in its barrel, which allows for new capabilities, such as squeezing the barrel to bring up a new tool palette. This palette lets you quickly switch between tools, line weights, and colors, streamlining your workflow.
The Pencil Pro also features a built-in haptic engine that provides feedback whenever you squeeze, double-tap, or snap to a Smart Shape. This tactile feedback enhances the user experience and makes it easier to control the pencil’s functions.
The Pencil Pro’s internal gyroscope allows for more precise control by rolling the pencil. This feature is particularly useful for artists and designers who require high levels of accuracy in their work.
The new Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the new iPad Pro and costs $129. Preorders start now, and the first shipments will arrive next week. On Tuesday, Apple also announced two new iPad Air models. These and the new iPad Pro models arrive a month before Apple is likely to announce iPadOS 18 at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference.
