Apple to Reveal New iPads and AirPods at ‘Let Loose’ Event
Apple has announced its ‘Let Loose’ event for May 7th, paving the way for a potential unveiling of its latest iPad lineup. The invitation artwork heavily suggests a focus on iPads, particularly with the prominent display of an Apple Pencil.
iPad Updates Expected
Recent rumors indicate that the event could witness the debut of a refreshed iPad Pro featuring an OLED display and Apple’s latest M3 processor. A new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories are also speculated to accompany the launch. Apple may also announce an enhanced iPad Air with an upgraded chip (M2 or M3) and a larger 12.9-inch screen size.
AirPods Rumors
In addition to iPads, Apple is rumored to introduce more affordable AirPods models. These mid-tier earbuds are expected to bring active noise cancellation, a feature currently exclusive to the higher-end AirPods Pro. The new AirPods, possibly called the AirPods Pro Lite, would replace the current non-Pro model that lacks ANC and interchangeable ear tips. Apple is also predicted to release a new entry-level AirPods Lite model, potentially without ANC or Spatial Audio support but serving as an accessible gateway into Apple’s wireless ecosystem. Both models are anticipated to include USB-C charging cases as standard.
iPhone Color Refresh?
Apple has traditionally introduced a new color option for its iPhones midway through their lifecycle. While there have been rumors of a bright and bold new finish for the iPhone 14 series, recent reports suggest that Apple may skip this tradition this year.
Stay Tuned for Official Announcements
With the ‘Let Loose’ event fast approaching, Apple enthusiasts eagerly await the official announcements on May 7th. Whether it’s the unveiling of the latest iPads or the introduction of affordable AirPods, the event promises to deliver exciting updates from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
