Apple’s big September event brought us the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and Apple Watch Series 10, and it was the iPhone 16 that stole the show for me. Not just because of its impressive specs, but because of its stunning new pink color! While we knew a pink iPhone 16 was coming, the original mockups revealed a muted, pastel pink that left me wanting more. Thankfully, Apple delivered a much brighter, more vibrant pink this time around, and it’s truly a standout color.
This year has been the year of the pink phone, with Google releasing their Pixel 9 in a beautiful Peony pink and even a Barbie-themed phone joining the market. As a self-proclaimed pink lover, I’m thrilled to see this trend taking hold. The iPhone 16’s pink is a significant improvement over the pink shades we saw in the iPhone 15 and 13. It’s bolder, more eye-catching, and truly pops against the usual iPhone palette. It’s a pink that grabs your attention and makes a statement.
While the new pink iPhone 16 is a winner, I’m still hoping for a pink iPhone Pro. When Apple revealed the rose gold Apple Watch Series 10, I got my hopes up, thinking it might be a hint that a rose gold iPhone Pro was on the way. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Instead, we got a Desert Titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro, which, while not awful, isn’t quite as exciting. I’ll continue to dream of a pink iPhone Pro, but for now, the pink iPhone 16 more than makes up for it. It’s a fresh, exciting addition to the iPhone lineup, and a testament to Apple’s willingness to embrace a more vibrant color scheme. With a fantastic pink option, and the new Ultramarine and Teal green colors, iPhones are colorful again, and I couldn’t be happier!
