In a significant move for the hospitality sector, Archipelago International has partnered with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative to launch two new hotel properties in the bustling cities of Taft, Manila, and Caretta, Cebu. This strategic collaboration was officially cemented during a signing ceremony held at the Cebu CFI Community Cooperative Building, marking a pivotal milestone for both organizations. The event brought together key figures from both entities, including Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer of Archipelago International, and Mona Lisa Flores-Dolomandin, Director at Powered by Archipelago Market Management. They were joined by esteemed members of Cebu CFI Community Cooperative, including Atty. Winston F. The ceremony served as a testament to their shared vision and commitment to this exciting new venture.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative to manage their upcoming properties in Manila and Cebu. The two new properties are strategically designed to cater to the diverse needs of modern travelers. In Taft, Manila, the hotel will boast 207 rooms, including dormitory accommodations, a fully equipped gym, inviting retail spaces, co-working areas designed to foster collaboration and productivity, and a rooftop bar offering panoramic city views. This unique blend of amenities is intended to attract both business travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient work environment and leisure travelers looking for a vibrant and engaging experience.

Meanwhile, the Cebu hotel in Caretta will offer 216 well-appointed rooms, fostering a sense of comfort and relaxation. The hotel will also feature co-working areas catering to the modern traveler’s need for flexibility and connectivity. The standout feature, however, is the rooftop community hub complete with a bar—an ideal space for guests to unwind, socialize, and enjoy stunning views of the city.

John Flood, CEO of Archipelago International, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative, a highly respected Philippine company, to manage their two new hotels.
