Philadelphia Democratic state Rep. Kevin Boyle is no longer facing an imminent arrest by the Philadelphia Police Department. This revelation comes after new information emerged, indicating that the protection from abuse order, which served as the basis for the arrest warrant, is no longer in effect.
At a late Monday afternoon news conference, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner stated that the new information obtained on Monday filled in a crucial gap, making it evident that there was no probable cause to justify a warrant for the arrest of the seven-term incumbent.
